We are authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority and our Financial Services Authority registration number is 306846. Our permitted business is advising on and arranging non-investment insurance contracts.

About our insurance services
Status & Service - We act as an Independent firm on your behalf in organising your cover and assisting with any amendments or alterations during the life of your policy. We offer products from a range of insurers for Home Insurance, Landlord Insurance, Mortgage Payment Protection Insurance (MPPI), we only offer products for a limited number of insurers for Pet Insurance, Travel Insurance, and Commercial Insurance(ask us for a list of the panel of insurers we offer insurance from.We only offer products from Motorist Services Limited for Legal Expenses Cover.
We will advice and make recommendations for you after we have assessed your needs for Home Insurance, Landlord Insurance, Mortgage Payment Protection Insurance (MPPI), Pet Insurance, Travel Insurance, Legal Expenses Cover and Commercial Insurance. Advice will only be given on those products you specifically request we make recommendation on.
If however you choose to buy online from one of our providers with a link from this site, we will not be giving advice and the status and service of the provider may be different from that above, you should check this prior to proceeding with any quotation. Please consult us if you are in any doubt that the product and cover is suitable for your needs.
From time to time if we do not have access to a suitable product for your demands and needs we will also utilise other agents to arrange other types of insurance on your behalf, and will advise you if this is the case.
Fees, Money & Charges - We do not charge a fee for arranging your cover. All fees charged by your insurer will be made available to you prior to the completion of your contract. All cheques for premiums or money of any kind must be payable to the provider of your insurance, and under no circumstances will we accept cheques made payable to us or cash given to us.
Complaints & Compensation - If you wish to register a complaint, please contact Chris Ward by post, fax, E-mail or phone on the details given above and on our contacts page. A copy of our complaints procedure is available on request, and would be sent to you automatically should you need to complain.
If you cannot settle your complaint with us, you may be entitled to refer it to the Financial Ombudsman Service.
We are also covered by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme. You may be entitled to compensation from the scheme if we cannot meet our obligations. This depends on the type of business and the circumstances of the claim.
Insurance advising and arranging is covered for 100% for the first £2000 and 90% for the remainder of the claim, without any upper limit.

Confidentiality - We will treat all of your personal information as private and confidential to us, even when you are no longer a customer.
Any information you provide is subject to the Data Protection Act 1998"The Act" and in providing us with any information you consent to us or any company associated with us processing both manually and by electronic means, your personal data for the purposes of providing advice, administration and management.
"Processing" includes obtaining, recording or holding information or data, transferring it to other companies associated with us, product providers, the Financial Services Authority or any other statutory, governmental or regulatory body for legitimate purposes.
We may also contact you or pass your details to other companies associated to us to contact you (including by telephone), with details of any other similar products, promotions, or for related marketing purposes in which we think you may be interested.
The information provided may also contain sensitive personal data for the purposes of the Act, being information as to your physical or mental health or condition; the commission or alleged commission of any offence by you; any proceedings for an offence committed or alleged to have been committed by you, including the outcome or sentence in such proceedings; your political opinions, religious or similar beliefs, sexual life, or your membership of a Trade Union.

You may be assured that we and any company associated with us will treat all personal data and sensitive personal data as confidential and will not process it other than for legitimate purposes. Steps will be taken to ensure that the information is accurate, kept up to date, and not kept for longer than is necessary. Measures will also be taken to safeguard against un- authorised or unlawful processing and accidental loss or destruction or damage to the data.
Subject to certain exceptions, you are entitled to have access to your personal and sensitive personal data held by us.
Claims - Full details of the claims procedure, can be found in your policy document. All claims should be made direct to the insurers. In the event that you need to make a claim, let the insurers know as soon as possible so they can advise you on any requirements they may have. You should not admit liability or agree to any course of action, other than emergency measures carried out to minimise the loss, until you have agreement from your insurer. Please also let us know as to any claims you have made, as this will assist us in ensuring you retain the best cover in the future, as this could affect any no claims discount you currently have. We will always be happy to assist you in any claims, but due to data protection legislation will need you to provide authority to the insurers to disclose the claim details.
Disclosure of Information - Please ensure you disclose all material facts as failure to do so may prejudice a claim or invlaidate the policy. A material fact is one which is likely to influence the insurer in assessing the acceptability of the application, or which will affect the premium charged. Proposal Completion - Please check that all the answers given are correct to the best of your knowledge, and that you read and agree with the declaration before signing. In the event of a change in your circumstances, you should inform the insurers, either directly or via ourselves, as your responsibility of disclosure is for the life of the policy.
Awareness of Policy Terms - Where a policy is issued you are strongly advised to read it carefully, as it is that document, the schedule and certificate of insurance that is the basis of the insurance contract you have purchased. If you are in any doubt over any of the policy terms and conditions, please seek our advice promptly.
Cancellation Rights - If you proceed, and subsequently decide the cover is not as you required, you will have a maximum of 14 (fourteen) days from the inception date in which to cancel. Full cancellation terms can be found in your policy.
Quotation - Your quotation is only valid for a limited period of time which will be shown on your personal illustration, premium rates and terms and conditions can alter outside of this.
Note - Your acceptance of these terms of business will deemed to have been accepted if you proceed with any of our recommendations. however your acceptance of these terms and conditions does not affect your rights under any other regulatory or legal requirements.
